Triple Late Night

As the sun set on a transformative summer at Camp Gan yisroel , we concluded our highly successful learning program with an event that truly embodied the spirit and achievements of our campers—a grand test followed by an unforgettable triple late night.

Throughout the month, campers participated in an immersive learning program designed to challenge their minds and deepen their connection to Torah. Each grade had its own tailored curriculum, with dedicated learning teachers guiding them through daily lessons, discussions, and activities. The goal was not only to impart knowledge but to foster a genuine love for Torah that would endure long after the summer ended.

The culmination of this month of learning was a grand test, made to cover all the material learned over the month. it was a test that required campers to demonstrate their understanding and retention of the knowledge they had gained. Remarkably, over 250 campers participated. The dedication and determination displayed by each camper were nothing short of inspiring.

Those who achieved a passing mark of 85% or higher were rewarded with the opportunity to participate in an epic triple late night—a celebration that was memorable as it was meaningful.

The triple late night was filled with excitement and variety as the grades took turns rotating between three activities. One group enjoyed a refreshing swim, another played a game of dodgeball in the shul, while the third gathered around a beautiful bonfire in the Rebbe’s forest, roasting marshmallows, singing songs, and sharing stories. the groups then rotated, ensuring that every camper experienced each part of the late night.

But beyond the activities and the rewards, the true prize for every camper was the profound sense of accomplishment and growth they felt. The test was not just a measure of what they had learned; it was a reflection of the knowledge and skills they had internalized—knowledge that would serve as a foundation for their continued growth in Torah and mitzvot. The campers walked away not only with memories of a fun-filled night but with a deep sense of pride in their achievements and a renewed commitment to Torah.
