This wasn’t a hands-on demonstration of hilchos nezikin, but rather the beginning of an enormous bonfire.

Firewood was stacked around a central support, and the pile reached many feet high. As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the campers gathered at a safe distance to enjoy the warmth of the fire. In the fire’s warm glow, they joined together in singing camp songs, their voices wafting far into the distance.
