FAQ
We have buses that bring the children to camp the morning of each session and buses that bring them back to the city at the end of each session. Parents may drop their child off and pick their child up directly from camp. An email will be sent with times prior to the beginning and end of each session. For out of town children we offer an airport pickup morning of camp departure only for the first session. Return drop off at the airport is offered for both sessions.
There is a charge for the airport service.
Please make sure all belongings have your child’s name on it. Items look identical and individual items are difficult to identify without a label. We have a lost and found where campers and staff can go to the PA office and check to see if anything was turned in for them.
No camper will be forced to participate in any activity. However, we do urge campers to try all activities and take advantage of the complete program offered at Camp Gan Israel.
Water is served at every meal. We also have water fountains spread out throughout campgrounds.

Grades 3 through 6 can wear long pants and shorts. Long pants are preferable because the boys spend most of the time outdoors in the grass. Tee shirts should be image and slogan free. Our Bar Mitzvah Division boys should only wear long pants. They need to wear button down shirts to all 3 tefillos every day. They can wear image free tee shirts for sports activities.
