On the bright sunny day campers and staff departed from 770 heading for an amazing summer celebrating 70 years of Camp Gan Yisroel.
Arriving in camp, campers were greeted by jubilant counsellors ready to share an amazing two months full of Davening, learning, activities and great fun. Snacks and drinks were given out to the campers.
Concluding the head counsellors welcome speech on how to have a safe and fun summer, campers were split into bunks.
Counselors made their grand entrance in a myriad of different ways, showing their Chayus and excitement ready to share a summer celebrating 70 years.
After heading up to the bunk houses and unpacking, campers headed straight to Shul for Mincha. There was an incredible energy in the air as boys answered Borchu Or Boruch Shmo, Amen etc.
Thank you to our dedicated kitchen staff who worked hard to prepare a tasty dinner.
Following dinner was the grand night activity breakout, including a game of Niggun chairs.
Maariv was then Davend and lights out, preparing for a blast of a summer celebrating 70 years.
