This past Wednesday saw the breakout and launch of BOG War 5773 in Camp Gan Yisroel, Entitled: The war for Moshiach! After the surprising breakout, the campers assembled in the Shul for the rules, dividing of the teams and welcomed their two respective Lieutenant Generals and General. After a short break for Mincha and Supper, each team presented their first scavenger followed by Maariv and their second scavenger.

The general theme we will be trying to bring out this year is specific things that we can do and strive for nowadays that will be focal points in the coming of Moshiach. We broke up the general idea of Moshiach into three points and we will be focusing on its corresponding ideas that are applicable today.

Team #1

בירור (corresponding to גילוי אלקות בעולם and החזרת השכינה להארץ)

לתקן עולם במלכות ש-ד-י

Perfecting the world so that it will be a befitting place for Hashem to dwell in

Team #2

אחדות (corresponding to קיבוץ גלויות)

ואתם תלוקטו לאחד אחד בני ישראל

Yidden are not complete unless we are all together and we are therefore depended on each other. We must strive to reach out to every Yid and get him on board with his Yiddisheit.

Team #3

לעבן (corresponding to שלימות התורה והמצות)

The ultimate purpose in the coming of Moshiach and what we await is to be able to fulfill Hashems Mitzvahs and learn his Torah in the complete and ultimate sense. Now we can learn about the Mitzvahs we are unable to do so as to prepare ourselves for the coming of Moshiach as well as to learn about him and his coming. (Learning Chassidus is a way to prepare for the Torah of Moshiach)
